Hi, I am a volunteer and board member of the Center for Purposeful Living in Winston-Salem, NC. Check out our website–www.purposeful.org.  The Center's primary service activity is an education program called Transformation Through Service. We've had students from around the world who are looking to explore purpose and develop skills in effective cooperation, servant leadership, and putting theory  into practice in service to others. It's a tough program that challenges students to really challenge themselves and their limitations to become World Servers.

We have a catering business where all profits from the business go to our charitable foundation, the Foundation for Purposeful Living which distributes funds to various charitable organizations. Service time in the catering business also serves as one of our “learning laboratories” for students.

The Center for Purposeful Living also functions as a very active service-oriented intentional community. We have a beautiful campus in Winston-Salem, NC. Full time students live on campus and experience full immersion in the community. We also have a number of local part-time students and volunteers.
